Animal Cupcakes

These animal cupcakes were made for a BBQ that Shawn and I attended. I knew there would be lots of children there so I wanted to make the cupcakes fun for them. The animals were a pig, lion, giraffe, and an elephant. The cupcakes were a big hit, and the kids had chocolate all over their faces after eating them.

Bridal Shower

A girl from work wanted a bridal shower cake to look just like the invitations. The wedding was going to take place on a beach, so she wanted the beach somehow incorporated in it. From what I heard the bride and groom LOVED the cake!

Daisy Cake

This past weekend I entered a cake decorating contest at my church and I won! I was was so excited! This is the cake that I made. Even though you can't see all of them, there are 100 daisies. I hand made all of them. It was a lot of work, but well worth it!

Rose Center Piece

I hosted a going away cook out for one of my friends from work. These were the center pieces. It is mini cup cakes with butter cream roses. Everyone thought they were real roses at first. They also thought the cupcakes tasted yummy!

Chocolate Martini Cake

Also this weekend I made a special birthday cake for one of my co-workers. I call it my chocolate martini cake.

Spring Flowers

This weekend I was busy making spring cup cakes. The cup cakes are my vanilla orange cake with the vanilla orange butter cream frosting. The flowers are made out of royal icing. I also decided to make some cup cakes with baby shoes on them.
